Hot Chocolate Recipes from Scratch:

Non-Alcohol Drink Recipes

Hot Cocoa: 2 tsp. unsweetended cocoa powder, 2 tsp. sugar, 2 cups milk. Stir the cocoa and sugar in a saucepan with a couple tablespoons of milk until the mixture is smooth. Then pour in the rest of milk and heat on low for about 5 minutes until warm.

Rich Hot Chocolate: 1/2 oz. semisweet baking chocolate, 1 cup half-and-half and 1/4 cup heavy cream. Stir over low heat for about 5 minutes until warm.

NonAlcoholic Hot Chocolate Recipes:

Butterscotch Hot Chocolate: Add 1 tablespoon of butterscotch topping to each drink and stir.

Dark-White Hot Chocolate: Add 1 tbsp. white chocolate chips to each drink and stir.

Hot Chocolate Mint Candy: Add 1 piece of chocolate mint candy to each drin and stir until melted.


Hot Chocolate with Alcohol Recipes:
Hot Drinks

Amaretto Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. Amaretto to each drink and stir.

Amaretto-Kahlua Hot Chocolate: Add 1/2 oz. Amaretto and 1/2 oz. Kahlua or coffee liqueur to each drink and stir.

Anisette Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. anisette liqueur to each drink and stir.

Bailey's Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream to each drink and stir.

Bailey's-Frangelica Hot Chocolate: Add 1/2 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream and Frangelica to each drink and stir.

Brandy Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. brandy to each drink and stir.

Brandy-Grand Marnier Hot Chocolate: Add 1/2 oz. brandy and 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier to each drink and stir.

Chambord Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. Chambord to each drink and stir.

Chartreuse Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. Chartreuse to each drink and stir.

Creme de Cacao Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. creme de cacao to each drink and stir.

Hot Chocolate Alcohol Drink Recipes- Dallas Bartenders

Creme de Cacao-Brandy-Kahlua Hot Chocolate: Add 1/3 oz. creme de cacao, 1/3 oz. brandy and 1/3 oz. Kahlua or coffee liqueur to each drink and stir.

Creme de Menthe-Kahlua Hot Chocolate: Add 1/2 oz. white creme de menthe and 1/2 oz. Kahlua or coffee liqueur to each drink and stir.

Frangelica-White Chocolate Cocoa: Add 1 oz. Frangelica and 1 tbsp. white chocolate chips to each drink and stir.

Grand Marnier Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. Grand Marnier to each drink and stir.

Grand Marnier-Frangelica Hot Chocolate: Add 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier and 1/2 oz. Frangelica to each drink and stir.

Rum Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. light rum to each drink and stir.

Whiskey Hot Chocolate: Add 1 oz. whiskey to each drink and stir.
