Waikiki Beachcomber: Cocktail glass. 3/4 oz.
gin, 3/4 oz. triple sec and 1 tbsp. fresh pineapple juice. Shake with
ice and strain.
Ward Eight: Rocks glass
with ice. 1 1/2 oz. of whiskey, 1 1/2 oz. of sweet and sour and 1/2
oz. of grenadine. Shake and strain. Garnish with a flag (orange and
cherry).
Warsaw Cocktail: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz. vodka,
1/2 oz. blackberry-flavored brandy, 1/2 oz. dry vermouth and 1 tsp.
lemon juice. Shake with ice and strain.
Waterloo:
Old-fashioned glass. 1 oz. light rum, 3 oz. orange juice and 1/2 oz.
Mandarine Napoleon Liqueur. Pour rum and orange juice over ice and
float Mandarine Napoleon on top.
Watermelon: Stemmed cocktail, chilled. 1/2
oz. Southern Comfort, 1/2 oz. amaretto, 1/2 oz. creme de almond, 2
oz. sweet/sour, stir in a tin of ice vigorously and strain.
Watermelon #2: Collins glass with ice.
Equal parts vodka, strawberry liqueur, sweet and sour and orange
juice.

Wembly Cocktail: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz.
gin, 3/4 oz. dry vermouth, 1/2 tsp. apple brandy and 1/4 tsp. apricot-flavored
brandy. Shake with ice and strain.
Western Rose: Cocktail glass. 1 oz. gin, 1/2
oz. apricot-flavored brandy, 1/2 oz. dry vermouth and 1/4 tsp. lemon
juice. Shake with ice and strain.
Whiskey Daisy: 1 1/2 oz. of blended whiskey,
1 tsp. red-currant syrup, 1/2 oz. lemon juice and 1 tsp. yellow Chartreuse.
Shake whiskey, red-currant syrup and lemon juice. Strain into glass
half filled with ice and fill with club soda. Float the top with yellow
Chartreuse and garnish with a slice of lemon.
Whiskey Flip: Sour glass.
1 1/2 oz. blended whiskey, 1 whole egg, 2 tsp. light cream(optional)
and 1 tsp. powdered sugar. Shake with ice and strain. Sprinkle nutmeg
on top.
Whiskey Milk Punch: Collins glass. 2 oz. blended
whiskey, 8 oz. milk and 1 tsp. powdered sugar. Shake with ice and
strain. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Whiskey Sour: Sour or Rocks glass. 1 3/4 oz. bourbon,
rye or blended whiskey, 1 oz. fresh lemon juice, 1/2 oz. simple syrup.
Shake with ice and strain. Garnish with a flag.
White Elephant: 1 1/2 oz. gin, 1 oz. sweet
vermouth and 1 egg white. Shake with ice and strain.
White Russian: Fill a
rocks glass with ice. Add 1 1/2 oz. of vodka. Add 3/4 oz. of coffee
liqueur. Fill with milk.
White
Wine Spritzer: Collins or large wine glass with a
little ice. 4 oz. white wine and 1 to 2 oz. soda. Stir and garnish
with a lemon twist.

and 1 whole egg. Shake with ice and strain. Float one tsp. of sweet
cream on top.
Widow's Kiss: Cocktail glass. 1 oz. brandy, 1/2 oz.
yellow Chartreuse, 1/2 oz. Benedectine and 1 dash bitters. Shake with
ice and strain.
Will Rogers: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz. gin, 1 tbsp.
orange juice, 1/2 oz. dry vermouth and 1 dash triple sec. Shake and
strain.
Wine Cooler: Goblet with
ice. Fill half with red wine and the other half with lemon soda.
Woodstock: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz. gin, 1
oz. lemon juice, and 1 1/2 tsp. maple syrup and 1 dash orange bitters.
Shake with ice and strain.
Woo Woo: Highball glass with ice. 1 3/4 oz. vodka,
1/2 oz. peach schnapps and 2 oz. cranberry juice. Build in the glass
and stir.
Woo Woo #2: Highball glass with ice. 1 1/2 oz. of
Hot Shot Tropical Fruit Liqueur OR 1 1/2 oz. of peach schnapps
and 3 1/2 oz. of cranberry juice. Stir.
