Sea Breeze: Fill a highball glass with ice.
Add 1.5 oz. of vodka. Fill halfway with grapefruit juice and then
fill with cranberry juice.
Serpentine: Cocktail glass. 2 oz. light rum, 1 oz.
brandy, 1 oz. sweet vermouth, 1 oz. lemon juice and 1/2 tsp. bar syrup.
Shake with ice and strain.
Sex on the Beach #1: Fill a highball glass
with ice. Add 1 oz. peach schnapps and 3/4 oz. vodka then fill with
equal amounts cranberry juice and pineapple juice.
Sex on the Beach #2: Fill a highball glass
with ice. 1/2 oz. vodka, 1/2 oz. black raspberry liqueur, 1/2 oz.
melon liqueur, 1 oz. pineapple juice and cranberry juice. Stir and
strain into cordial or shot glass. Top with cranberry juice.
Shandy Gaff: Collins glass. Fill the glass with half
beer and half ginger ale. Stir. Great for hot days and early afternoons
with half the reduction of alcohol.
Shanghai Cocktail: Cocktail glass. 1 oz. Jamaica
light rum, juice of 1/4 lemon, 1 tsp. Anisette and 1/2 tsp. grenadine.
Shake and strain.
Sicilian Kiss: Rocks
glass with ice. 1 1/2 oz. of Southern Comfort and 1 1/2 oz. of Amaretto.
Stir gently.
Side Car: Rocks glass
with ice. 1 oz. brandy, 1 tsp. triple sec and 1 1/2 oz. sweet and
sour. Stir and strain. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Simple Syrup: (A.K.A.
bar syrup) Made by combining 1 part sugar and 1 part boiling water,
and stirring until the sugar dissolves. Let cool and store, closed,
capped at room temperature. Make only enough for one week at a time
(otherwise it will start to crystallize).

Singapore Sling: Collins glass filled with
ice. 1 oz Gin, 1/2 oz Cherry Brandy, 2 oz sweet/sour and fill with
soda, then top with cherry brandy; garnish with a cherry.
Slippery Nipple: Cordial glass. 1 1/2 oz. of
Sambuca and float 1/2 oz. of Bailey's Irish Cream on top with a dash
of grenadine on top.
Slow Comfortable Screw: Fill a highball glass
with ice. 1/2 oz. of vodka, 1/2 oz. of sloe gin, 1/2 oz. of Southern
Comfort and fill with O. J.
Slow Comfortable Screw Against the Wall:
Highball glass with ice. 1/2
oz. of vodka, 1/2 oz. of sloe gin, 1/2 oz. of Southern Comfort and
fill with O. J., then top with 1/2 oz. of Galliano.
Sloe Gin Fizz: Highball glass. 2 oz. sloe gin, juice
of 1/2 lemon and 1 tsp. powdered sugar. Shake and strain. Fill with
club soda and stir. Garnish with a slice of lemon.
