Daffodil:
Cocktail glass. 1 oz. apple brandy, 1 oz. white port, 1/2 oz. apricot
brandy and 1/4 oz. lemon juice. Shake with ice and strain. For the
garnish: cut yellow gumdrops in half and spear them with a tootpick
and lay the gumdrops and toothpick across the glass rim.
Daiquiri: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz. Light rum
and 3 oz. sweet and sour. Shake with ice and strain.
Daisy:
Rocks glass with ice. 2 oz. tequila, 1/4 oz. lemon juice, 1/4 oz.
grenadine and 1/4 oz. club soda. Shake with ice and strain.
Damn the Weather: Rocks glass with ice. 1 oz. gin,
1/4 oz. sweet vermouth, 1/4 oz. orange juice and 1/8 oz. curacao.
Shake with ice and strain.
Dancing Leprechaun: Collins glass with ice. 1 1/2
oz. Irish whiskey, 1 1/2 oz. lemon juice and equal amounts of club
soda and ginger ale. Shake the whiskey and lemon juice with ice and
strain. Add equal amounts of ginger ale and club soda to fill the
glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Daniel de Oro: Highball glass with ice. 1 1/2 oz.
tequila, orange juice and 1/4 oz. creme damiana. Pour the tequila
over ice and add orange juice to 1/2 " of the glass rim. Top
off with creme damiana.
Danish
Gin Fizz: Collins glass filled with ice. 1 1/2 oz.
gin, 1/2 oz. Cherry Herring, 1/2 oz. lime juice, 1 tsp. Kirschwasser
and 1 1/2 tsp sugar syrup. Shake with ice and strain. Fill with club
soda and garnish with a lime squeeze.
Dark 'n Stormy: Highball glass with ice. 1
1/2 oz. Gosling's Black Seal Rum and 3 oz. ginger beer. Pour rum into
glass and add ginger beer. Squeeze a lemon squeeze around the rim
and garnish with a lemon wedge.
