Clamato: Old-fashioned
glass with ice. 1 1/2 oz. vodka, 1 oz. clam juice and 3 oz. tomato.
Shake with ice and strain.
Claridge Cocktail: Chilled cocktail glass. 1 oz. gin,
1 oz. dry vermouth, 1/2 oz. triple sec and 1/2 oz. apricot brandy.
Stir with ice and strain. Fom Craddock's 1930 recipe.
Classic Cocktail: Chilled
and sugar-rimmed cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz. brandy, 1/2 oz. curacao,
1/2 oz. maraschino liqueur and 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice. Shake with
ice and strain. From Craddock's 1930 recipe. May substitute Grand
marnier or triple sec for the curacoa.
Clover Club Cocktail: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz. gin,
juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 egg white, and 2 tsp. grenadine or raspberry
syrup to taste. Shake with ice and strain.
Clover Leaf Cocktail: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2
oz. gin, juice of 1/2 lime, 1 egg white, and 2 tsp. grenadine. Shake
with ice and strain. garnish with a mint leaf.
Cocktail Na Marra: Collins glass with half-filled
ice. 2 oz. Irish whisky, 4 oz. tomato juice, 2 oz. clam juice, 1/2
oz. lemon juice, 2-4 dashes of Worcester sauce, a dash of Tabasco
sauce and a pinch of white pepper.
Cocomacoque: Collins glass half-filled with
ice. 1 1/2 oz. light rum, 2 oz. red wine, juice of 1/2 lemon, 2 oz.
pineapple juice and 2 oz. orange juice. Shake all ingredients with
ice except wine. Pour into glass and top with red wine. Garnish with
a pineapple stick.
Coffee Cooler: Collins
or other tall glass with no ice. 4 oz. cold coffee, 1 1/2 oz. vodka,
1 oz. cream, 1 oz. coffee liqueur, 1 tsp. sugar, and 1 small dip of
chocolate ice cream. Pour all ingredients except ice cream into the
shaker with ice and shake this creamy drink very well; shake about
double the usual time. Pour into glass and add the ice cream.
Coffee Flip: Sour glass. 1 oz. brandy, 1 oz. Port,
1 whole egg, 1 tsp. powdered sugar and 2 tsp. light cream (if desired).
Shake with ice and strain.

brandy, 3/4 oz. white creme de menthe and 3/4 oz. light cream. Shake

golden rum, 1/2 oz. Grand Marnier Liqueur and 5 oz. apple juice. Garnish
with an apple slice or tall cinnamon stick.
Corpse Reviver: Chilled cocktail glass. 3/4 oz. gin,
3/4 oz. triple sec, 3/4 oz. Lillet Blonde, 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
and absinthe substitute to taste. Shake with ice and strain. Based
on Craddock's 1930s book.
Cowboy Cocktail: Cocktail glass. 1 1/2 oz.
blended whiskey and 1 tbsp. light cream. Shake with ice and strain.
