Black and Tan: Beer mug
or pint glass. Guinness and Bass Ale. Fill a pint glass half-full
with Guinness. Place a teaspoon on the back of the pint glass and
fill the remainder of the glass with Bass Ale by pouring it slowly
over the back of the spoon.
Black and Tan #2: Collins glass filled with ice.
1 1/2 oz. Irish whisky, 1 oz. dark rum, 1/2 oz. lime juice, 1/2
oz. orange juice, 1/2 tsp. superfine sugar and 4 oz. chilled ginger
ale. Shake with ice and strain. Fill with ginger ale.
Black Hawk: Cocktail
glass.1 1/4 oz. blended whiskey and 1 1/4 oz. sloe gin. Stir with
ice and strain. Serve with a cherry.
Black Jack: Cocktail
glass. 2 oz. Scotch, 1 oz. Kahlua, 1 oz. triple sec and 1 oz. lemon
juice. Shake with ice and strain.
Black Russian: Rocks glass with ice. 1 1/2
oz. vodka and 3/4 oz. Kahlua. Stir briskly.
Black
Sun: 1 1/2 oz. Cointreau, 1/2 oz. light rum, and cola.
Add liquors and fill with cola. Garnish with a lemon or lime slice.
Blackthorne: Chilled cocktail glass. 2 oz. Irish whiskey,
1 oz. sweet vermouth, r or 2 dashes of absinthe substitute and Angostura
bitters to tas. Stir with ice and strain. Garnish with a lemon twist.
Black Velvet: Champagne flute. Pour 2/3 full with
Champagne and fill with stout beer.

Black Velveteen: Beer glass or mug. 8 oz. hard cider
and 8 oz. stout beer. Pour in order given.
Blimey: Cocktail glass. 2 oz. Scotch, 1 oz.
Rose's lime juice and 1/2 tsp. bar syrup. Shake with ice and strain.
Blinder: Cocktail glass. 1 3/4 oz. Scotch and
4 oz. grapefruit juice. Shake with ice and strain. Drizzle 1 tsp.
of grenadine on top.
